Carolyn Ann Moran, age 53, of Long Beach, died July 14 in Long Beach, MS. She was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ethel Storey and Hodges A. Moran and Sophie Moran, and her mother, Alma Marie Moran.
Carol is survived by her father, Hodges E. Moran of Pass Christian, her son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Jennifer Moran of Long Beach, her daughter, Jessica Fournier of Biloxi, a sister, Connie Moran of Biloxi, a brother, Clarence (Judy) Moran of Bay St. Louis, grand daughters, Lacy Moran and Kaylen Smith Moran of Long Beach, a grandson, Joey Filibeck of Long Beach, Jessica's father, Ray Fournier of Biloxi, her companion, Gary Schruff of Pass Christian, and her beloved pet, T-Bone.
Carol was a waitress at the Crawfish Hut in Long Beach. She enjoyed friendships made with co-workers and customers and genuinely cared for them. As much as she loved her job and friends, her greatest joy was her family. Carol had a amazing bond with her Aunt and very best friend, Betty Moran; they were unstoppable Golden Girls. She lived for her Sunday family day. Nothing made her happier than having all of her family together, boating, eating, laughing, and having fun. She had an uncanny ability to bring a smile to anyone's face..""""Sweet Jesus"""". Words cannot express the loss for losing someone so full of life. Her heart was enormous and it showed with her love of life, kindness to others, compassion, and by all of the lives of people she impacted throughout her journey. Although our hearts ache for her, we know that she is finally at peace with her beloved Mother who she missed so very much. All will agree that Carol was one of a kind and to know her was to love her. As long as life and memory last, we will remember her.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at THE RIEMANN FAMILY'S Gulf Coast Funeral Home, 3 Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following the funeral service at The Crawfish Hut in Long Beach.
