Carolyn Diane Mitchell, age 68 of Gulfport, MS, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2019, with her family by her side. She is rejoicing with her savior, Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Palmer George Williams, Sr.; her mother, Iddie Catherine Saucier Williams; her three brothers, Palmer George Williams, Jr., Marty Joseph Williams, and Robert Williams; her five sisters, Kay Williams, Linda Willis, Rhonda Williams, Nell Williams; and her infant sister, Cathy Williams.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Diane Lynch and Patricia Heard; her son, George Mitchell, Jr. (Amy); her sisters, Judy Carter (Family), Beverly Broxson (Family), Nancy Banks (Family); her brother, Ron Williams (Family); 13 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
She enjoyed painting, writing, poetry, taking pictures, the beach, spending time with family, and listening to her grandson, Logan tell her stories. She will be missed deeply by so many that loved her.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, November 22, 2019, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, with a visitation from 1:30 PM until the service.
