Carolyn Slade Hill, age 64, a resident of Johns Creek, Georgia, passed away at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS, on May 1, 2011, of stroke complications.
Mrs. Hill was born on April 24, 1947, in Gulfport, and was married to Gayle Hill.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Slade and father, Preston Slade.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband, Gayle; son, Slade; daughter-in-law, Melissa; sister, Patricia Smith, and numerous other relatives.
Carolyn was a devoted wife, sister, aunt, and mother.
Visitation will be at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport on Friday, May 6, 2011, from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the South Mississippi ASPCA will be appreciated.
