Carol Ready

Carol Ann Snyder Ready, age 87, a native of Houston, TX and long-time resident of Biloxi, MS passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 in Biloxi, less than a month after losing her husband Clyde.

Carol graduated from Ocean Springs High School, and later moved to the Woolmarket community in Biloxi.  She was the bookkeeper for several businesses along the coast throughout the years including, IDS, Liberto Gifts, EDCO printers and various churches.  She was a longtime member of Woolmarket Baptist Church, in Biloxi, she loved to read, loved going on day trips, loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Eugene Ready; her parents, Chester Snyder and Louise (Thompson) Snyder; siblings, Emily Reed, Phyllis Benson, Muriel Agregaard, Jean Sanders, Frank Snyder, Donal Snyder, and Eddie Snyder.

She is survived by her son, Mark Grayson Fletcher of Gulfport, MS; brother in law, Alton Ready (Anniebet) of Jackson County; sister’s in law, Susan Yates, Martha Kindrick, both of Pascagoula, Billie Moore of Clinton, MS, and Mary Ammonett of Hurley, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A private family service will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. in West Jackson County.  Carol will be laid to rest next to her husband Clyde in D’Iberville Memorial Park.
