Carol Lusco

January 24, 1961 — July 4, 2019

On Thursday, July 4, 2019, Carol Ann Marshall Lusco, loving wife of Ralph R. Lusco and mother of two children, Victoria and Anthony, passed away at the age of 58.  She died peacefully in the presence of her family and the many friends who endeared themselves to her throughout her life.
Carol was born on January 24, 1961, in Gulfport, MS to Charles Alphonse "Peanut" Marshall and Ella Agnes Ladner Marshall.  She was a 1979 graduate of Pass Christian High School and worked over twenty years in dental administration and hygiene on the Gulf Coast.  Carol married Ralph in 1989, and together they raised a daughter and a son, Victoria Agnes and Anthony Joseph Lusco, who are fraternal twins.
She was very close to her father, Charles, and cared for him in his elder years.  Her mother, Ella, passed away when she was young leaving her grandmother, Agnes Victoria Marshall, to fill in as a mother to Carol.  She also received a lot of mentorship from all the women in the family during her childhood.  As an adult, Carol never forgot this, and she was always quick to support them in times of need.  She also shared laughter and pain with a close group of (only sometimes) mischievous girlfriends who meant the world to her.
Carol was an incredible professional in the field of dental administration who also performed many of the duties of a dental technician.  Her friendly, energetic nature, along with her sense of humor, will always be remembered by her co-workers.  She really loved to listen to people and their stories, as well as tell her own.  Foremost, however, she'll always be remembered as the "super-mom" that "zipped" around hauling two beautiful twins to daily ball practice while encouraging their efforts in school.  There was no more attentive mother than Carol Lusco, who tirelessly worked to instill the highest values in her children and inspire in them a work ethic that has served them so well in their young adult lives.
Carol was the "anchor" of a beautiful family and extended circle of family friends.  She really loved to cook too.  She cooked all the local specialty dishes of the Gulf Coast, including Cajun and Italian.
She is survived by her devoted husband Ralph, who will miss her love and support and her two children, Victoria and Anthony.
Carol is now reunited with her parents, Charles and Ella Marshall and her stepbrother, Gene Dubuisson, along with her grandparents, Joseph Alphonse and Agnes Victoria Marshall.
