Carol "Gay" Johnson, age 74 and a resident of Gulfport passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Gulfport. Gay left this world but will forever be in the hearts of those who knew her. She devoted her life to caring for her family, spreading sunshine, love, and laughter to all. She was an artist, loved music, and would be the first one on the dance floor. Now she dances with the angels. She will always be the light of our lives.
Her parents Ruth Taylor, Jim Taylor and Glenn Sletten preceded her in death. She is survived by her aunt, Carolyn Wink Pitts; sister, Barbara Taylor; brother-in-law, Tony Moll; daughter, Christine Miller; son, Greg Johnson; daughter-in-law, Christi Johnson; and six grandchildren, Joshua & Leah Miller, Kyle Miller & Carly, Matthew & Shannon Johnson, Brittany, Stephanie & Brandi Johnson; as well as nine great-grandchildren and many cousins.
