Carol Ann Johnson

Carol passed away Thursday April 21, 2022 at the age of 76.  She was a resident of Gulport, MS.

She was preceded in death by her father Carlton, mother Marcella and her loving grandson Gavin.

She is survived by her spouse of 28 years Dennis Johnson, children: Trevor (Nova) Barnes, Kim (Richard) Zinda, Kristin (Andrew) Eckert, Grandchildren: Jacob, Stephanie, Brookelyn, Ethan, Ryan, Bradyn, and Arlington, her brother Peter (Dort) Gottgetreu, brothers and sisters-in-law: James (Pat) Johnson, Terri (Robert) Link, Thomas (Brenda) Johnson, Kathy (Scott) Oliver, and David (Diane) Johnson, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends!

Carol was born in New London, WI and lived in Green Bay, WI, Milwaukee, WI and retired to Gulfport, MS.  She loved the outdoors - skiing, backpacking, camping, canoeing down the Wisconsin River, geocaching and in retirement - warm walks on the beach.  If she asked you if you liked beer and you said yes - you were an automatic friend!  She will be truely missed by those who loved her.

There will be a small celebration of life for her friends in Missisippi on April 30th at Carol and Dennis's house.  There will be a second celebration of life in Milwaukee (date, time and place TBD) for family and friends in the wintery north.
