Carmen Lopez Tracy, 95, of Gulfport passed away August 13, 2006 in Biloxi, MS.
Mrs. Tracy was born in Collins, MS on January 25, 1911 and lived in Gulfport all of her married life but had spent the last year at her daughter's home in Biloxi. She was a homemaker and a devout member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert E. Tracy, Sr.; two sons, Norbert E. Tracy, Jr. and Daniel Boyle Tracy; parents, Carrie and ALbert Victor Lopez; sisters, Consuela (Connie) Smith and Calleen Schefano.
Survivors include her five children: William J. """"Bill"""" Tracy and wife Mae Beth, Long Beach, Cornelius """"Chunnie"""" Tracy and wife Janet, Dickinson, TX, Dian M. Schlicht and husband Robert J. """"Bob"""", Hemet, CA, Nina M. Fraser, Biloxi, and Colleen James and husband Ray, Gulfport; 15 grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 17, 2006 from 6 - 8 pm at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Three Rivers Rd. Chapel, Gulfport. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Friday at St. John Catholic Church, Gulfport.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
