In Loving Memory
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved one, Carlos Ashley Faul Jr. who went home to be with our Lord and Savior on the 21st day of July 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Ashley Faul Sr., his mother, Zenobia Amelia Gill Faul, and his beloved wife of 22 years, Nancy Baker Faul. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Claire Ellen Faul, his brothers Floyd Faul (Tammy) and David Faul (Beth), his Uncles Charlie, Jerry, Rusty Gill (Debbie), and Richard Faul (Rhonda), nieces and nephews Ashley, Mary, Gregory, Bryan and Maggie, a great niece, Lainey, a plethora of cousins, and his fiancé Kathleen Hughes.

A Life Well-Lived
Carlos Ashley Faul Jr. was more than just a brother to his siblings, he was our hero and our favorite Rock Star, that we just had to go see every time he played a gig! Carlos Ashley Faul Jr. also took us both to our first concerts and changed the way we perceive music forever! He is a legend and a pillar in the local music community, and arguably, Biloxi’s King of Bass in his own right, and a beacon of light in all our lives. Carlos Jr. had many fans up and down the coast where he played with many local bands including Storyville.
Born on March 26th 1967, he brought joy and happiness to all those who had the fortune of knowing him. Carlos Ashley Faul Jr. had a zest for life that was unmatched. His infectious smile and compassionate nature will forever be etched in our memories.
A Journey of Passion
Carlos Ashley Faul Jr. was a loving Christian man who pursued his passions with unwavering dedication. Whether it was his love for his God given music talent, his affinity for Auburn College Football, his passion for photography, his commitment to his Church (First Baptist of Gulfport), or his friends and family, Carlos Ashley Faul Jr. infused everything he did with his passion and enthusiasm. He had an inherent ability to touch the lives of others and inspire them to follow their dreams. Carlos Ashley Faul Jr. was a true inspiration to all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
A Caring Soul
Beyond his accomplishments and talents, Carlos Ashley Faul Jr. had a heart of gold. Being a kind and dependable father was of the utmost importance to Carlos Ashley Faul Jr., and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his daughter Claire. He always placed others before himself, continuously striving to make the world a better place. His love and kindness knew no bounds, and he selflessly gave of himself to help those in need. His impact on our lives will forever be cherished and remembered.
A Lasting Legacy
Carlos Ashley Faul Jr. may have physically left us, but his spirit will continue to live on. We will honor his memory by carrying forward his love, his zest for life, and his compassion. In our hearts he will forever remain a guiding light, reminding us to cherish every moment and embrace the beauty of life.
A Celebration of Life
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 9 - 11 am at the First Baptist Church of Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 11 am in the sanctuary. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
This will be an opportunity for friends and family to share their memories, extend condolences, and bid farewell to an extraordinary soul.
Thank you to Select Specialty, Driftwood Nursing Home, and the extraordinary sitters that played a role in the care of Carlos Ashley Faul Jr.

We will forever hold Carlos Ashley Faul, Jr. close to our hearts. Though he may no longer be physically present, his impact on our lives is immeasurable. As we navigate through the pain of his loss, let us find solace in the memories we shared and honor his legacy by living life to the fullest, just as he did.
