Carl Torries

Carl J. (Buck) Torries, 83 a long time resident of Gulfport, MS died on Friday, February 29, 2008 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Buck retired with over 50 yers of service from Mandalls Roofing and Sheet Metal.
He is survived by his wife Eva Torries of Belhaven Senior Care; a daughter Donna Blackwell of Florence, MS; a son Jim Anderson of Ridgeland, MS; siblings Jimmy and Ronnie Torries, Peggy Pittman of Saucier, MS, Harold Torries of Ocean Springs, MS, Shirley Ware of Gulfport, MS; Five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2008 at Rieman Family Funeral Home 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Tuesday March 4, 2008 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Torries Cemetery in Saucier, MS.
