Carl Phillip Shelton, 30, of Long Beach, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2008, at his home in Long Beach.
Carl was born in Granite City, IL on November 3, 1977 to George and Sherry Shelton. He graduated from Long Beach High School in 1996 and held an Associates degree in Robotics from MS Gulf Coast Community College. At the time of his death, he was employed through IBW 903 as an electrician.
Carl was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl Shelton, Adeline and Rocky Bridges, and Archie Clyde Beaty.
He is survived by his parents, George and Sherry Shelton; his brothers, Aaron Shelton and Chris Shelton; his grandparents, Jean and Bill McLeod, all of Long Beach; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and loving and devoted friends.
Carl was larger than life; he filled the room with his presence. He enjoyed golf, football, and cruising the Coast.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
