MSgt. Carl George Nowalk, US Air Force retired, age 90, a native of Scranton, PA and resident of Gulfport, MS died Friday, October 26, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Nowalk served in the U.S. Air Force with duty during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 22 years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Lee Nowalk, of Gulfport; son, Carl George Nowalk, Jr. and wife Sandra, of Aurora, CO; daughters, Frances Jane Davis, and husband Kevin, of Gulfport, MS, and Nancy Lee Bova, and husband Robert, of Sefner, FL; a brother, Eddie Nowalk, of New York; six grandchilden, and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit Monday, October 29, 2007 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfort from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment with full military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Asembly of God Church, 2600 22nd Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501.
