Carl Hanson

Carl Eric Hanson, age 49, of Gulfport, passed away on May 18, 2009 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald R. Hanson, and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Hanson, of Gulfport; his children, Erica Howard of Biloxi and Elizabeth Stephens of Gulfport; his stepchildren, Tommy Williams of Gulfport, Mark Williams of Saucier, Kimberly Bond of Gulfport, Anthony Williams of Texarkana, AR, and Eric Williams of Gulfport; his mother, Verlin Hanson, of Biloxi; his brother, Mark Hanson, of Vancleave; his sisters, Debra Boyd of Biloxi and Pamela Smith of Gulfport; and thirteen grandchildren.
He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Saucier, where he served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. He had a sincere love for the Lord.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Campground Baptist Church, Gulfport where family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
