Carl Gammell

Carl Lee Gammell, age 46, of Gulfport, passed away on September 20, 2008 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his father, Conny Lee Gammell.
Carl is survived by his daughter, Carly Lynn Gammell of Gulfport; his mother, Joyce Virginia Burns Smith of Venus, TX; his brothers and sisters, Melba Roberts and her husband, Russell, Sheila Messer and her husband, Cameron, Floyd Petta, all of Venus TX, Georgia Pyle Moss of Mansfield, TX, and George Petta, Jr of Venus, TX; a sister in law, Patsy Winters, and a niece, Mary Ann Winters, both of Gulfport; a brother in law, David Winters and a niece, Chelsea Winters, both of Gulfport; Linda Gammell of Gulfport; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews in Texas.
He was a donor in numerous Red Cross blood drives, an avid football fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and loved fishing and being near the water. His special talents included art and writing poetry.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will held on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 3:30 PM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Coalville Cemetery, Woolmarket.
