Carl Randolph Campbell

On the morning of Monday, March 31, 2014, Carl Randolph Campbell, passed away at Memorial Hospital due to cardiac arrest. He was 57 years old.
Carl was born in Jonesville, LA on May 28, 1956. He was the tenth child of eleven born to Johnnie Melba and Melvin Henry Campbell. Carl served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He then went on to serve as a law enforcement officer for over 30 years and was currently working with the Long Beach Police Department as the Evidence Officer. He was also State Commissioner for the Clan Campbell Society and was involved in the Highlands and Islands. When he was not busy with all of that, he loved riding motorcycles and caring for his horses.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers, Albert Campbell and Terry Campbell.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Carol Campbell; his siblings, Miriam, Dale, Virgil, Robert, Dennis, Jean, Donald, and Linda; his daughters, Carrie and Calea; his son, Morgan and his grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Talmadge, and Talia. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014, from 6pm-8pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Poplar Head Cemetery in Saucier.
