Mrs. Sue Kunz, age 69, resident of Long Beach, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2008, in Long Beach.
Mrs. Kunz resided on the Coast since 1982. She was co-owner of Fred's Fix It Shop on 28th Street in Gulfport. She enjoyed driving and showing her 1951 Crosley antique car and was a member of the Antique Auto and Engine Club of MS. She also enjoyed knitting and other arts and crafts.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel and Exie Piper; grandsons, Matthew Frederick Phillips and Jacob Andrew Moore; great grandson, Gabriel Moeller; sister, Romain Starbody; and brothers, Burl Noble and Carroll Piper.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Kunz of Long Beach; children, Paul Jackson of Kiln, Fred Kunz, Jr. of IL, Teri Fontaine of Manchester, TN, Carolyn Smith of Chicago, Laura Moeller of IL, Carla Peavler of Kiln, Tammy Ryan of Nashville, and Al Moss of Gulfport; and mother-in-law, Leota Kunz of Pittsfield, IL; 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, where friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Additional services will follow on Friday, February 1, 2008, at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home in Decatur, Illinois, with burial on Saturday.
