Cara Kostmayer

Cara Elizabeth Cook Kostmayer, age 40 of Ocean Springs, passed away after a nine year battle with a serious illness.
She is preceded in death by her father, David Allen Cook; and her grandparents, Fred and Evelyn Cook, and Ozea and George Trahan.
Cara is survived by her husband, Harry Kostmayer, Jr; her mother and step father, Alice M. and Frank Curtis; her children, McKenzie Kostmayer and Garrett Kostmayer; her siblings, Timothy Cook and Adam Cook; and two nephews, Ellison and Aleaux Cook.
She loved crafting, especially makings wreaths and bows, enjoyed cooking her favorite Cajun cuisine, but mostly, loved being a Mom and being with her children.
Cara will be missed by those who knew her and stood by her during her courageous fight these past nine years.  She will be loved always.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation from 12:00 p.m. until the service at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Ave. in West Jackson County.
