Candace Nelson Rogers, 45, of Long Beach passed away August 24, 2013.
She was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and worked for NASA for 27 years.
She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
Candace was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Nelson.
She is survived by her sons, Brandon Shaun Nelson, James Bryson Rogers, and Carson Anthony Rogers; mother, Sandra Wheat Nelson; sister, Nikki Nelson Smith; and grandson, Hunter Shaun Nelson.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 12:30 to 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Long Beach. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 pm in the church sanctuary. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery in Picayune, MS.
