Camella D. Loftis, age 83, of Gulfport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 in Gulfport.
She was a lifelong resident of the coast and retired from the USDA. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church where she brought flowers to the church every week.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles V. Loftis, Sr., her parents, Sam and Pauline Dauro, and 2 brothers, Vincent A. Dauro and Joseph Dauro.
Survivors include her children, Jo Ann LeBert and her husband Rex, Gale Gilpin and her husband Steve, and Chuck Loftis and his wife Shelly, 2 sisters, Angelina Pierce and Ann Stewart, 4 grandchildren, Rex LeBert, II, Lindsey LeBert Cuevas, Michael Beach and Carly Loftis, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, December 17, 2010 from 10am - 12 noon at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
