Mr. Calvin Joseph Willard, age 27, resident of Pass Christian, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2008, in Pass Christian.
Mr. Willard was born in Bay St. Louis, and was a lifelong resident of Pass Christian. He enjoyed spending time with his many, longtime friends on the river and building bon fires with them. He loved four wheeler riding, camping, and the outdoors in general. His hobbies included restoring motors of all kinds, from autos, to motorcycles, to boats. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nephew, Gabrial, and niece, Symphony. His family and friends will miss him terribly and will remember him for his humor.
Mr. Willard was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Terry Rachuba; grandfather, Johnny Willard; grandparents, Maria and Floyd Detiveaux; aunt, Susan Willard; uncle, Calvin Willard; and cousin, David Harshbarger.
He is survived by his parents, David E. Willard (Pennie) of Perkinston, formerly of Pass Christian, and Ernestina """"Tina"""" Detiveaux Willard of Pass Christian; siblings, Michael, David, Jr., and Melissa Willard, all of Pass Christian; cousin, Billy Harshbarger of Pass Christian, and a best friend, Randy Sykes.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, at 3 pm, where friends may visit one hour prior to services. Following chapel services, the family will gather at 8052 McDonald Road, Pass Christian.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
