Burla C. Seger

Burla Cumberland Seger, 68, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010 in Wilmington, Delaware.
She was a longtime resident of Gulfport, MS and had retired to Delaware. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served proudly. Burla was also a member of the VFW and Ladies Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by an infant son, Baby Boy Wise; her father, A. D. Cumberland; her mother, Leola Bourree; a brother, Lonnie T. Cumberland, a sister, Jeannie M. Livings; and a granddaughter, Alyssa C. Wise.
She is survived by three sons: David M. Wise and wife Tamara of Lima, OH, Marc B. Wise and wife Stacy Suhr of Claymont, DE, and Christopher M. Wise and wife Brandi of Biloxi, MS; one daughter, Michelle L. Fowler and husband Dallas of Kiln, MS; a brother, Alex (Duke) Cumberland and wife Ronnie of D'Iberville, MS; sister, Wetonia Redding of Horn Lake, MS; ten grandchildren: Daniel Wise, Matthew Wise, David Wise, Aaron Wise, Christopher Wise, Yasmine Wise, Myah Wise, Drake Cuevas, Britne Cuevas, and Danae' Fowler; and longtime dear friend, Sandi Bainter, along with other family member and friends. She will be deeply missed and loved forever in our hearts.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Biloxi. The Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home, followed by interment with honors in Biloxi National Cemetery.
