Bula Freche

Bula S. Freche, age 88, a native of Cecil, GA, and long-time resident of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away in Gulfport, MS on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin J. Freche, Sr.;

a son, Donald M. Freche; and parents, Ruben Savage and Mittie Rumph.

Bula is survived by her children, Ed Freche and his wife Monique of Jeffersonton, VA, and Debra Clemons and her husband Todd of Biloxi, MS; grandchildren, Sheila Birk and her husband Steve of MO, Scott Freche and his wife Karen of VA, Casey Clemons and Madison of Biloxi, MS; five great grandchildren, Austin Birk, Allison Birk, Hayden Freche, Hailey Freche, and Hazel Freche; numerous relatives and friends.

She was a 1951 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Biloxi, a loving and devoted wife to her husband Edwin for 67 years, a homemaker and wonderful mother to her three beautiful children, and loving grandmother to her beautiful grand and great-grandchildren.

Bula was an extraordinary seamstress, who also enjoyed fishing , boating, ceramics, needlepoint, gardening and canning.  She was an avid reader as well and when her vision failed, she enjoyed listening to audio books. She was a member of Hera’s Mardi Gras Crew and loved being a part of it.
