Bruce Goodbee

Bruce Jones Goodbee, age72, passed away peacefully on Friday (his favorite day of the week), September 3, 2021. He was born in New Orleans to the late Edna Fury Goodbee and Thomas Goodbee.

Beloved husband of almost 45 years to the late Viola “Vickie” Pecoraro Goodbee; and devoted brother to the late Bryan Goodbee.

Bruce was a devoted father to, Garrett (Courtney) Goodbee, Gregory (Dawn) Goodbee, and Jennifer (J.J.) Goodbee Devlin; proud grandfather to, Grant Goodbee, Evie Goodbee, and Joseph Devlin; brothers, Geoffrey and Richard.

Bruce was born and raised in uptown New Orleans, after marrying, he and Vickie moved to Lakeview where they started a family business. He loved being with his family and going to playground to watch his grandbabies play. His passion for flying led to his involvement with “Angel Flight”. Bruce was always eager to help those in need.
