Brooks James Ferrell

Brooks James Ferrell. Born and passed away on December 9th, 2024.

 He is deeply cherished and loved by his parents Wesley Ferrell and Chelsea Miller, his siblings Ainsleigh, Oliver, and Henry, his grandparents Jennifer and Charlie Glenn, Charmaine Hall, and Michael Leonard, his uncles Thomas Ferrell, John Leonard (Emma), Charles Brandon Glenn (Jess), and Joseph Glenn, and great grandparents Vetter Taylor O’Neal, Casey Leonard, and Brenda Fountain as well as many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Brooks is being cared for in heaven by loving family that preceded him, his grandfather James Raymond O’Neal, Jacqueline Leonard, and Lorinda Leonard. Although he never got to walk this earth, he was surrounded by insurmountable love from his parents and family. He will always be cherished and has taken his place as a guardian angel for his loved ones.

A visitation will be held at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, from 3 - 4 pm. A celebration of Brooks’s life will follow at 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Brooks's Blessing, a non-profit foundation that brings care packages to mothers and families that suffer from infant loss and care packages to NICU babies in the hospital. The foundation was created in Brooks's honor to help give back to families affected by loss and miscarriage. 

The family would also like to thank Dr. Alicia Ware for her impeccable grace and assistance as well as the nurses at the Memorial Hospital Labor and Delivery Department. Your grace, understanding and caring during this extremely difficult time did not go unnoticed and will forever be appreciated.
