Brian Jones

Brian Joseph Jones, age 45, passed away on July 30, 2021, in Phoenix, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Grover Simmons, Sr, and Gertrude Williams Simmons; and his paternal grandparents, Alexander Jones and Pearle Hilton Jones.

Brian is survived by his parents, Willie B. Jones and Groverine Simmons Jones; 2 sons, Shemer Tobin, Palmdale, CA and Bryce Jones, Houma, LA; a brother, Edward B. Jones (Raynea); a sister, Marietta Deal; 3 uncles, Alex Jones, AJ Jones (Betty), and Grover Simmons; an aunt, Jeannie J. Simmons; a devoted friend, Priscillia Salazar; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Brian was educated in the Palmdale, CA and Apple Valley, CA School System.  After high school, he attended Victor Valley Junior College.  Brian’s love for music led him to live in many cities including Las Vegas, New York, and Atlanta.  In 2007, Brian moved to Houma, LA where he worked offshore for Trinity Catering Company, Encore Food Services, Aspire Offshore Supply Company, and Wal Mart.

In 2019, Brian transferred to Wal Mart in Phoenix, AZ, in pursuit of a Graphic Arts Degree from the University of Phoenix and he received his Associates Degree in Graphic Arts in February 2020.  At the time of his death, he was still going to school and working full time.

Brian had a passion for Rap music.  He wrote many songs and beats with his Rap Artists – the Hustler Kleks.  Brian aka “DA Ambush Undersiege” as many Rap musicians called him, was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 11 am.  Visitation will be from 10 - 11 am in the church.
