Brenda Lee Hewes Smith, age 46, a lifelong resident of Gulfport, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Smith worked at Martha's Laundry for 16 years. She also worked for Oreck and she was a member of the Rebekka's. She enjoyed watching TV. and listening to music and was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Hewes; and her brother Roger Dale Hewes.
Survivors include her loving husband, John Smith of Gulfport; her father, Vernard Hewes of Gulfport; her siblings Bonnie Reynolds of Gulfport, Donna Tatro of Gulfport, Jimmy Hewes of Gulfport, and Wayne Holcomb of Bogalusa, LA; and numerous other family members
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Chapel, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
