Brenda McGrew

On Wednesday, March 4th, Brenda McGrew passed away at the age of 72.  Brenda was born on August 16th, 1947 in Gulfport Mississippi to Walter and Velma Price.  Brenda was the eldest Sister to eight siblings: Amos, Harold, Vada, Dennis, Karen, Debbie, Ronnie and Donna.  She was the loving Mother to three children: Bridgette, Michelle and Jeremy.  She was also the beloved grandmother of seven grandchildren: Brandon, Ashley, Landry, Austin, Lance, Jayden, and Julianne.  Finally, she recently became the Great Grandmother to two beautiful babies: Kinsley and Mary.

As the second oldest of nine - each and every of those 8 siblings knew who was in charge, Brenda!  Brenda helped raise the younger ones as if they were her own and learned how from her parents: stern but with love.  Her drive and dedication to family shows in the values placed on family by those she taught – her younger brothers and sisters and her children.  Her brothers, sisters and kids looked to her as a guide and she cherished that because it reflected her love for each and every one of them.

Brenda wanted the best for all who knew her and she would offer her guidance and her love to any and every one, whether they wanted it or not.  Everyone knew it was her way or no way, but that was okay because to anyone who knew her, they knew she was ALWAYS RIGHT!

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast, 1907 Popps Ferry Road, Biloxi.  The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11 a.m.
