Brenda Louise Boney, age 67 of Long Beach, MS passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Graham, Sr. and Christine Graham; her brother, Robert Graham, Jr.; infant brother, Tony Wayne; and infant sister Judy Diane.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Robert Boney; her daughters, Christina (Chad) Houser of Shelbyville, TN, Stacie (Tim) Tripp of Long Beach, MS, and Kimberly (Bryan) Lott of Dallas, GA.; her brother, John (Elaine) Graham; her sister, Sandra Weaver; her grandchildren, Justin Frank, Brittany Tomey, Miranda Singleton, Chelsie Bishop, Ethan Singleton, JT Tripp, Guice Tripp, Hailey Lott, and Callen Lott; and great grandchildren Brayden & Penelope Frank and Brantlee and Mazzie Bishop.
She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and loving heart. Brenda was known affectionately as "Brenda in the window" at John French Nationwide Insurance for many years. She later enjoyed volunteering at Memorial Hospital and St. Thomas Catholic Church. She was a devout member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and enjoyed participating in mass as a Eucharistic Minister and serving in the church office as receptionist. She also volunteered on several church committees. She enjoyed volunteering at her grandchildren's schools and attending many events and field trips.
The family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice for the loving care they gave to Brenda during her illness. Hayden, Fanta, Cindy, Terrance, Stephanie and Denise did everything possible to make Brenda feel comfortable. Her daughters would like to express their appreciation to their dad for the love and dedication he gave to their mom not just during her illness but throughout their marriage.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 4 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 East Beach Blvd, Long Beach. Family and friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until mass time at 10:30a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Thomas Catholic Church.
