Brenda Bond

Brenda Bond, age 65 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Sunday, January 25, 2015, in Long Beach.
Mrs. Bond was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She retired after 25 years of service with Pass Christian Industries and was a member of Pass Road Baptist Church in Gulfport. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Wahl of the Oncology Clinic at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport and the nurse's and staff of Gentiva Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her fathers, Ollie Franks, Sr. and Sam Gilson and a brother, Ollie Franks, Jr.
Mrs. Bond is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Jerry Bond of Long Beach; her mother, Maxine Gilson of Woolmarket; her siblings, Theresa (Drexel) Ward of Pascagoula, Eva (Dean) Robinson of Gulfport, Margie Ladner of Diamondhead, Debbie Albert of Gulfport, Betty Jean Agro of Sharmin, FL, and Nickie (Normie) Franks of D'Iberville.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 6pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
