Bradley Raye

Bradley Sisson Raye, age 59, of Gulfport, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

Brad was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rhonda Giuffria Raye; and his father, Russell Raye.

He is survived by his parents, Marilyn and Buddy Hammett of Biloxi; his brother, Bryan Caldwell (Kellee) of Gulfport; his niece, Claire Caldwell of Gulfport; his nephew, Reid Caldwell of Spanish Fort, AL; his brother-in-law, Clay Giuffria (Cindy) of Gulfport; and special friend Susan Peterson of Gulfport.

Brad was a lifelong resident of Gulfport and a 1980 graduate of Gulfport High School. He served as Vice-President and General Manager of Hammett's Auto Electric, Inc. of Biloxi for over 30 years. Brad was an avid NASCAR fan, collector of miniature cars, and a faithful blood donor. He was known for his friendly disposition and kind heart. Even following two serious auto accidents, Brad maintained a positive attitude. If a customer asked how his day was going, he typically answered, "Man, if I were any better, I'd have to give some back..."

The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 12:30-2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or First United Methodist Church of Gulfport.
