Bonnie Anne Pierce, 79, of Long Beach, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 in Long Beach.
Bonnie was an avid horseback rider and rode barrelracing in many local rodeos. She loved nursing and earned an LPN degree shortly after volunteering with the American Red Cross. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from USM Gulf Park Campus at age 60. Bonnie went on to earn credits towards her Master's of Science in Psychology.
She was proud to watch her grandson, Joshua, become a minister, Gabriel attain his dream of working for Emeril and her other grandsons achieve multiple awards in school and sports.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Malcolm """"Mackie"""" Huckabee; mother, Bertie Anne Smith; brother, Robert H. Huckabee; and infant son, Robert Morris.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Richard Pierce of Long Beach; son, James M. Pierce of Long Beach; daughters, Bonita A. Moreau of Alexandria, Alabama, and Lou Anna Claveau of Long Beach; and grandchildren, Joshua L. Roberie, Gabriel P. Roberie, Chrisitan A. Graham, Aaron J. Graham, Mathieu Claveau, Ethan Claveau, Jonathan Alan Moreau, Markus Anthony Moreau and Piper Anne Moreau.
Friends are invited to attend the Pierce family for visitation at THE RIEMANN FAMILY'S Riemann Funeral Home, Highway 49 North, Gulfport, Thursday, June 21, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, June 22 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Long Beach at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
