Bonnie Jean Rutledge King, age 76, of Long Beach, passed away on July 7, 2008 in Gulfport
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max S. King; her parents, Edward and Sally Rutledge; her brothers, Lee Rutledge, Richard Rutledge, Louie Rutledge, and J.C. Rutledge; and her sisters, Ida Mae Carr, Lillian Jay Baxter, Dimple Carnes, and Mary Thompson.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Cheryl Stevison and her husband, Russell B. Stevison of Long Beach, and Brenda Sue Moran and her husband, Agnel Moran, of Kiln, MS; her stepson, Michael L. King of Gulfport; her sisters, Ollie Cospelich of Gulfport, Lavenia Bernocco of Toms River, NJ, and Myrtis Lee of Poplarville; and six grandchildren, Russell Brian Stevison, II, Candace Danielle Stevison, Brittany LaRae Moran, Kelsey Briana Moran, Michelle Heaton, and Katherine King.
She was a life long resident of Long Beach and a member of First Baptist Church of Long Beach. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 2:30 PM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Long Beach.
