Bonnie Cady, of Kiln, passed away suddenly on September 19, 2010.
Bonnie was a dedicated wife and was a stay-at-home mother to four daughters. She was born September 13, 1935 in Belle Plaine, IA to Berthold and Helen (VanScoy) Brecht.
She married Stanley DeVere Cady on January 3, 1955 in Mankato, MN. Together, they lived in Minnesota, Montana and Benton County before settling in Toddville, IA where they spent most of their married life. They retired to Kiln, MS in 1997.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Cady, her daughters, Nelda (Jeff) Cady of Faribault, MN, Cheryl (Dean) Meyer of Kiln, MS, Lauri (Glenn) Brown of Mesa, AZ, and Brenda (Larry) Fertitta of Mandeville, LA; her brother, David (Toni) Brecht of Watkins, IA; her sister, Rosie (Gene) Huffer of Roseburg, OR; five grandsons, Joseph Springer, Micheal Cady, Justin (Jamie) Springer, Matthew (Gina) Cady and Adam Brown; as well as several great grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September, 23, 2010, at 1:00 pm at Annunciation Catholic Church (old sanctuary) in Kiln, with visitation from 11am until Mass.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Diabetes Association,
www.diabetes.org, or a charity of your choice.
