Bobby Kennedy

Rev. Bobby D. Kennedy, age 90, passed away on January 13, 2021 in Gulfport, MS.
He served in the US Navy for 13 years, and in 1976, he founded and pastored Calvary Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis for 22 years. For the last 23 years he has served as Assistant Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Gulfport.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Willie Kennedy; son, Jamie Kennedy; great-grandson, tlas Taylor; two brothers; and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marlene Kennedy; sons, Donald Kennedy (Jackie), Bobby Kennedy (Christina), Kenneth Kennedy (Debbie); seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mavis Robison of Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church, Gulfport. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Bay St. Louis.
