Bobby Joe Davis

Bobby Joe Davis, age 61, of Gulfport, died on March 15, 2008 in New Orleans, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loy Davis and Christine S. Davis; and a brother in law, Dennis Bolton.
Bobby Joe is survived by his wife, Debbie Davis and stepdaughter Bridgett Daniels of Gulfport; his children, Joey Davis and his wife Michelle, Mara """"Missy"""" Gilliland and her husband, Kelly, and Kimberly Davis, all of Alabama; a brother, Ricky Davis; a sister, Judy Bolton, both of Alabama; father and mother in law, Jack Davis and Evelyn Davis; brother and sisters in-law, Danny and Pansy Davis and their son Danny Jr., all of Long Beach, and Cynthia Davis of Lafayette, LA; four grandchildren, Justin Davis and Jai Davis, Jake Gilliland, and Keisha Davis;
Bobby was raised on the mountain in Geraldine, Alabama. He was a car dealer for twenty five years and most recently, was a partner and close friend, with Christian Baehr in a local area contracting firm. He enjoyed the outdoors and traveling and was a kind and giving person, personable, outgoing, and never met a stranger.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport where friends may call from noon until service time. Burial will follow at Evergreen Gardens, Gulfport.
