Bobbie Nell Whalen(Rogers), 88 of Runnelstown, passed from this life on May 13, 2024, in Poplarville, MS. A private service, followed by interment, will be held on Tuesday, May 21, at the Biloxi National Cemetery. Bobbie Nell was born to James Leonard and Hazel Gregory Rogers on March 11, 1936, in Macedonia, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Whalen, her precious son-Lanny Sanford, her parents, and 2 sisters: Marie Bailey and Peggy Hartfield.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Paul (Kim) Sanford of Runnelstown, MS, sister Betty (Haskel) Rogers of Macedonia, MS, and sister Patricia McGee of Runnelstown, MS. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Jennifer (Jeremy) Edwards of Richton, MS, Kelly (Craig) Lott of Richton, MS, Ashton (Leann) Sanford of Dahlonega, GA, and Ashley (Eric) Safier of Dawsonville, GA. 7 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren also survive.
