Bobbie Mimms-Williams

Bobbie Mimms-Williams, age 88, of Woolmarket, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Chapple Mimms; her husband of 9 years, Farrell Williams; and a son, James Mimms.

She is survived by her children, David Mimms (Melanie), Cindy Grimes, Karen Naron, Ken Mimms (Amy), Pam Morrison (Peter), Denise O’Neal (Jeffrey), Greg Williams (Shannon), and Julie Redden (Kenny); 2 siblings, Carl Livingston and Gene Livingston (Jane); 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; 3 dear friends, Ann Harrison, Barbara Shuttleworth, and Maynell Holland; and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Bobbie was a native of Sturgis, MS and was a long time resident of the Woolmarket Community.  She worked for Gulf National Bank, Gayfers and Sears.  She enjoyed cooking and taking care of others.  She was a charter member of the Woolmarket Fire Department and was a faithful member of Coalville United Methodist Church for 62 years.

The family would like to thank Chuck and Danny Collins of J.O. Collins Company for allowing Karen to care for our mama, Bonnie Roberts for her in home care, Layne Sellers and Felicia Gaddis of St. Joseph Hospice, and her Riverside community for their love and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Coalville United Methodist Church, 12298 Shorecrest Road, Biloxi, MS 39532.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 5 - 7 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.  The funeral service will be at 10 am, Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Coalville United Methodist Church where friends may visit from 9 -10 am.  Interment will be in Coalville Cemetery.
