Billy J. Sibley

Billy J. Sibley, age 80, of Dedeaux, passed away on July 23, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Sibley and Ann Scarpinatto.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jackie Sibley; a son, Christopher (Cindy); a grandson, Sebastien; a granddaughter, Gabby; brother, Al Sibley (Mary Jo); and a sister-in-law, Shirley Salters.

Billy served his country for 3 years of active service in the Army and 3 years of active reserve where he was in the medical EVAC at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas.  He later retired after 30 years of service with Sears where he served as store manager.  He was a member of The American Legion Post 77 in Waveland, MS and he was the architect that designed the building.  He loved working at the post and he loved the American Legion.  He was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux and he was always around the church working on things.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 9 – 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux, 14595 Vidalia Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the church.  Interment will be private in the Biloxi National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the building fund at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
