Billy Ray Moore, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday morning, November 11, 2008. He was 73.
Billy Ray Moore was born February 14, 1935, and was a long time resident of Big Level, MS. He was a retired OTR truck driver, co-owner of Broadus Furniture in Gulfport, and active member of the JL Power Masonic Lodge No. 416, and of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Vada Moore. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Ruth Diamond Moore; four children, Deborah Coker, Jimmy Moore, Teddy Moore, and Cynthia Cuevas, four step-children, Teresa Norris, Scott Norris, Cheryl Lowe, and Larry Norris; three sister, Wilma Haven, Sandra Rogers, and LaJuan Hendry; fourteen grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 13, 2008, at Moore Funeral Home, in Wiggins from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, 2008, at 10:00 AM in the Moore Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery.
