Billy D. Cutrer

Billy D. Cutrer, 76, of Gulfport passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Gulfport.
He loved to go camping and travel and spending time with his family.
His grandkids favorite saying was ""Papa could fix it.""
Mr. Cutrer was an instructor in the United States Air Force until he retired in 1973. Following retirement he began working at the VA Hospital as a mechanic foreman until he retired from the VA.
He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rites Mason, Master Mason at the Polar Star Lodge, and a member of the York Masonic Lodge, Joppa Shiners, and Fernwood Baptist Church.
Mr. Cutrer was preceded in death by his parents, Roy D. and Brillie M. Cutrer; son, Jerry Daniel Cutrer; sister, Nadine Bowman; brothers, Roy Cutrer and Huey Cutrer.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth ""Liz"" Cutrer of Gulfport; children, Allen Cutrer (Teenon) of Hawaii, Keith Cutrer of California, Wayne Cutrer (Lenora) of Oregon, David Lewis (Julie) of Warner Robbins, GA, and Wesley Lewis (Olya) of Roanoke, VA; brother, Sam Cutrer (Virginia) of Bogalusa, LA; sisters, Elois Pinion (Lee) of Baton Rouge, LA and Irene Morris of Bogalusa, LA; sister-in-law, Georgine Cutrer; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi. A second visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm at the funeral home, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2011.
Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
