Billy O. Cassady, age 73 and a resident of Saucier, died on Sunday, August 26, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Cassady was a longtime resident of Saucier, and a member of Cedardale Baptist Church in Saucier. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Cassady is preceded in death by his parents, Ewell & Nellie Meyer Cassady and his brother, Dick Cassady.
He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Betty R. Thompson of Saucier; his son, Jimmy O. Cassady of Florida; his stepsons, James A. Rich of Saucier and James Kemper of Florida; his brother, Eddie Cassady of Iowa; his sisters, Doris Seaball, Rose Mitchell, and Marge Cassady and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2007 beginning at 1:00pm at THE RIEMANN FAMILY'S FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road Chapel in Gulfport. A graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
