Mrs. Billie McCrory, age """"39"""", resident of Gulfport, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in Gulfport.
Mrs. McCrory was born July 20, 1922, in Pachuta, MS. She was a member of the Gulfport Church of God where she was very active in various ministries. She helped organize Feed My Sheep in downtown Gulfport. She enjoyed traveling and crocheting, which she and her family enjoyed crocheting night once a week. She had worked at the Gulfport VA as a Dietician.
She is preceded in death by her parents, C.P. and Maude Dennis; husband, Allen McCrory; sister, Beth Robinson; son, Don McCrory.
She is survived by her children, Sherry Payne of Gulfport, Buddy Ladner and his wife Doris of Gulfport, Darlene House and her husband Ernest of Gulfport, and Lori Kendrick and her husband David of Gulfport, Dale McCrory and his wife Leva of Waynesboro, TN, Phil McCrory and his wife Sherry of Madison, AL, and Kay Robinson and her husband Jimmy of Kingston Springs, TN; 26 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; and her friend of 75 years, Dot.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, where friends may visit from 6-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
