Billie Raye Boyd Daniels, 70, of Gulfport died Friday, February 16, 2007 in Bay St. Louis.
She was a native of Electric Mills, MS, lived most of her life on the MS Gulf Coast, and resided in Hattiesburg for 15 years. She was a graduate of USM with a degree in Nursing and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Long Beach. Mrs. Daniels was a master in needlepointing and she enjoyed refinishing antiques. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and she enjoyed arts and crafts with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kelly Daniels, her parents, Vernon Clay """"Coach"""" Boyd and Evelyn Orr Willis Boyd, and a sister, Betty Boyd Endt.
Survivors include her children, Kelly (Beth) Daniels, Charlotte, NC, Clay (JoAnne) Daniels, Gulfport, Diane (Terry) Dykes, Petal, MS, and Bill (Stephanie) Daniels, Mandeville, LA, 1 sister, Jane Boyd Beaugez, Ocean Springs, and 1 brother, Willis C. """"Bubba"""" Boyd, Slidell, LA, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 2:00 pm in St. James Cemetery, Gulfport.
