Bill Simmons, 75, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 in Biloxi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barlow and Mattie Mae Simmons, a sister, Annie Pearl Dew, and two brothers, Jimmy Simmons and JB Simmons.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Winnie Simmons, his daughter, Terri Simmons, and a son, Hoyt Simmons; three sisters, Oree Dew, Sandy (Travis) Lane, and Doris (Floyd) Langley; two granddaughters, Brandy Gatwood, and Dana (Nick) Stilianos, grandson, Shannon Simmons; five great-grandchildren, Brandon Lindsay, Cailyn and Conner Gatwood, Amarah and Kalliah Stilianos; and a large number of nieces and nephews; stepdaughter, Melissa Madison, stepson, Eric (Missy) Hodges, and six step-grandchildren; special friends, William Earl (Donna) Barton, Ed (Cora) Barton, Lee (Helen) Humphrey and many more friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at Biloxi National Cemetery at 9:00 AM.
