Beverly Davey Moore, age 73, of Ocean Springs, died Thursday, October 1, 2009 in Ocean Springs.
She was a native of Atlanta, GA, graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and retired from Delta Airlines after 23 years of service. Mrs. Moore had lived on the coast for 9 years and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her grandkids and a new great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, James C. Davey, a sister, Joyce Neal, and an aunt, Bobbie Clyde Dye.
Survivors include her husband, Rob Moore, Ocean Springs, her mother, Ruth Davey Summerlin, GA, 3 sons, Chuck Black, Plano, TX, Doug Black, Atlanta, GA, and Mike Black, Ocean Springs, 1 brother, Tommy Davey, Atlanta, 4 grandchildren, Brandon, Chaz, Evan, and Josh, and 1 great-grandson, Sirius Benjamin, and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be at 2 pm, Saturday, October 17, 2009, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 502 Jackson Ave., Ocean Springs.
