Betty L. Yates

Betty L. Yates, age 61, of Saucier, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011.
Betty was a resident of the coast more than 35 years and she worked as a hairdresser and a homemaker before entering MGCCC where she graduated with a degree in Electrical Technology. After graduation, she worked over 9 years as an Electrical Technician at Ingalls Shipbuilding. Betty was a good friend to many and was very loved by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Martha Wright.
Survivors include her loving husband, Brad Yates, her children, Jesse Jones and a special daughter-in-law, Janice, Marcie (Lynn) Thrasher, Timmy (Luv) Yates, and Brandie Yates, 2 brothers, William H. Wright and Rodney C. Wright, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am Monday in Rouse Cemetery.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
