Betty Yarbrough

Betty Lacy Yarbrough, age 79, passed away January 24, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Yarbrough; her brother, Henry “Buddy” Lacy; her sisters, Patsy Beckham, Margaret Yarbrough, and Helen Necaise; her mother, Frances “Claude” Thompson; and her father, Edgar Lacy.

Betty is survived by her children, Donna Busby (Willard), Bo Yarbrough (Melissa), Doris Mitchell (Chad), Jay Yarbrough (Crystal); her sibling, Frances McClantoc; and her grandchildren, Nathan Busby (Cara), Derrick Busby (Emily), D.J. Yarbrough, Jacob Mitchell (Carlyn), Jenifer Sierra (Tony), Michael Yarbrough, and Mason Yarbrough.

She was a native and current resident of Gulfport, MS. Betty worked at the Harrison County School District, and was a Walmart door greeter. She was a member of the Nugent United Methodist Church. Betty enjoyed gardening, traveling and reading.

Thank you for all the prayers from so many people. Betty always loved spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by many.
