Betty Jean Stevens

April 23, 1930 — May 12, 2015

Betty Jean Cranford was born April 23, 1930, to Gertrude and Earl Cranford. She was the oldest child of the family and big sister to Doris Cranford Maddux and James Earl Cranford (deceased).
Betty graduated from Gulfport High School and married Murphy Monroe ""PeWee"" Maddux, Jr. (Deceased).
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Edmund Stevens; three children, Linda (Oney) Maddux Raines, Jerry (Cindy) Murphy Maddux and Donna (Tony) Maddux Tillman; her grandchildren, Kelly (Gary) Griffin, Whitney (Jason) Sumrall, Don Hartfield, Jr., Jerry Maddux, Jr., and Tony (Lauren) Tillman, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Bailey Griffin, Colin Griffin, Alexander Hartfield, Webb Sumrall, and Maddux Claire Sumrall.
The family would like to thank a special friend, Lori Kendrick, Dr. Thomas Blanks, the staff at Dixie White House, and Gentiva Hospice for their care.

A graveside service will be held in Biloxi National Cemetery on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 11:00 am.
