Betty S. Sconiers

Betty S. Sconiers, age 93, passed away on December 18, 2024 in Biloxi. Born in 1931, she was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. Betty was a devout Christian lady and loved church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Walker Sconiers; son, Wayne Harold Sconiers; parents, Floyd Nelson Sherrell and Ruby Maples Sherrell Wright; and siblings, Doris Sherrell Waters, Floyd L. Sherrell, and Donald Ray Sherrell. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Sconiers Psaila (Michael); grandchildren, Stacy Psaila Hicks (Jimmy), Brandy Psaila Singletary, Jonathan Michael Psaila (Elizabeth); great-grandchildren, Parker and Hudson Hicks, Beck Singletary, Dylan and Henry Psaila; brother, Virgil Lee Sherrell; and her best friend, Joanne Schonewitz.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bennett Cheney and his nursing staff, the medical staff at Memorial Hospital and the staff at Vital Caring hospice.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 am on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi. A graveside service will follow at 11 AM at Southern Memorial Park Mausoleum.
