Mrs. Betty Jo O'Mary Schwalls, age 72, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Schwalls was born in Eldridge, AL, and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1971. She worked with her husband, Charlie, in their upholstery business, B.J.'s Upholstery. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Bernice Baughn O'Mary; and a brother.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charlie Paul Schwalls of Gulfport; children, Charline Schwalls of Gulfport, and Janice Nichols (Chris) of Gulfport; brother, Kermit O'Mary (Loni) of Wheatfield, IN; grandchildren, Peggy Schwalls, Julia Schwalls, and Allison Nichols.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Schwalls and Bobby Nichols.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
